Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 : Warlords of New York is an online open world, cover-based shooter and action-RPG developped by Massive and codevelopped by Ubisoft Annecy, Newcastle, Sofia and RedStorm. This is the extansion of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, released in 2019. The game takes you back to New York City to face Aaron Keener. In this extansion, you have access to a new open world, new story missions and events. 

 

 

Role: Level Designer / Mission Designer

 

 

I have worked on the Main Mission “The Tombs”, the main mission linked to the hunt of Theo Parnell

·       Research on the real life location

·       Pre production document for the mission design and layout

·       3D layout based on a location within its constraints

·       Macro and micro layout

·       Mission Design

·       Creating encounter spaces respecting the game metrics

·       Encounter Design

·       Iteration on pacing and encounters

·       Implementing level mechanics

·       Scripting encounters and events

·       Collaborate with other departments and studios

·       I manage alone the big boss fight with Theo Parnell, creating game mechanics (the fight is based on decoy holograms) to give something refreshing and challenging to the players. This boss fight is one of the most appreciated in the extansion, reading online reviews.
